STATEMENT FROM CHAIR OF GOVERNORS
Welcome to our school website and, as the Chair of Governors, I am delighted to share a few words about Davenant Foundation School and its role in the community.
A strong Christian ethos is at the heart of everything we do, and we are focussed on providing a safe, nurturing, and inspiring environment where every student can thrive academically, socially, and emotionally. The school moto, Nurturing Mind, Body and Spirit, is embraced by all at the school in the wide range of opportunities that are provided for every young person. Being part of the Davenant family never leaves you, and it is not uncommon to see generations of the same family educated here.
None of this would be possible without dedicated and committed staff, and we are blessed to have the very best here at Davenant. There is a desire to go above and beyond to ensure that every pupil excels and becomes the best version of themselves and is able to leave Davenant equipped not only to be successful personally in whatever they choose to do but also to contribute positively to the world around them.
The collaboration between governors, staff, students, and families is vital to our success. We believe that strong partnerships enhance the educational experience and contribute to a supportive community. Open communication is essential, and we welcome your involvement in school activities and initiatives as we remain committed to continuous improvement and innovation.
Thank you for visiting our website. We hope you find the information helpful and engaging. Please feel free to reach out if you have any questions or suggestions.
