The Parents' Association
The Davenant Foundation School Parents Association is run by a group of parents with the intention of raising money for the school and providing the extra resources that the school’s budget could not otherwise afford.
The PA funds a school minibus, and in recent years, has provided other equipment and resources such as learning, homework and revision software for the Science department, a sound mixing desk, basketball goals and air-conditioning units for classrooms.
Your children have an enhanced experience at Davenant because of the work of the PA.
The PA run many events each year to raise funds with an emphasis on fun and enjoyment, such as Davenant’s Got Talent,
the Christmas Fayre, Raffles, Quiz Nights and the Y7 & 8 Disco.
We also have other ad hoc events and welcome new ideas.
In the last 3 years alone, we have raised over £40,000 for equipment to enhance the student’s experience of the school.
Please do all you can to support the Parents’ Association by attending events, buying Grand Draw tickets and - where you can - offering help at events.
New members are always welcome!
We hold meetings approximately once a term to plan events and decide how to allocate funds. New members are always welcome as members often move on when their children grow up and leave the school. You can contribute as much or as little time as you can spare.
