An excellent opportunity has arisen to lead our successful Humanities Faculty. If you want to work in a school that values all that Humanities has to offer a student, as well as looking after their staff, come and look at Davenant. If you have been a Head of Department and are looking for that next step, you could be the right person to lead our Humanities Faculty. This position is a full time post and we require someone experienced and enthusiastic, with a strong subject knowledge, who enjoys working in a strong team environment. We would expect the successful candidate to be able to teach at all key stages, as well as taking the lead in overseeing and developing the broad ranging academic programme within the Faculty. (History, Geography, Religious Education, Psychology, Sociology, Government & Politics and Philosophy & Ethics).
This is an exciting opportunity for promotion and to work in a school that actively encourages strong participation and competition in all year groups. He or she will help shape the direction of the Humanities Faculty at Davenant Foundation School at an exciting time.

We are situated close to the M25 and the central line in the beautiful setting of Epping Forest. We can easily be reached either from London or from the Essex/Hertfordshire borders.
