Davenant Involved in Project with Iraq

Work has begun to link Davenant teachers with key staff from two Iraqi schools. The schools, a boys and a girls school from the Babylon District, are part of a E.U. funded project which is being organised by the British Council and the Youth Sport Trust. Over the next three years, we will support them in developing their teaching of P.E. and Mathematics. A small group of Davenant staff expect to travel to Kurdistan to work with Iraqi colleagues in November.
