Davenant Foundation School Library commemorated Holocaust Memorial Day in a variety of ways.

Assemblies throughout the week ending 29th January were in relation to the Holocaust. A particularly moving and insightful assembly was given by Mr Liebeschuetz, Head of Science, whose Grandparents were directly affected by the Holocaust. In the Main School Library a presentation by the Holocaust Memorial Day Trust was played during break times and students watched the BBC adaptation of the Diary of Anne Frank over 3 lunchtimes. In addition a Holocaust display was presented in the library, as shown in the image.
