Christmas Service

The Christmas Service was based upon a telling of the Nativity with some powerful links to issues that affect us in today’s world. A particular theme was homelessness and it was good that a retiring collection raised nearly £250 for the Welcome Centre for the homeless in Ilford. The service included readings by students and staff, traditional hymns and a duet of the Advent carol “Tell out my soul”. The service was prepared by our chaplain, Beth Rushmer, and Head of R.E., Mark Escott.
